Expanded call for proposals

Due to the events in the Ukraine and difficult refugee situation in some European countries, we expand the scope of the projects’ topics in the 6th GCLS Grant Round.

In parallel with projects focused on communication, education and promotion about SDGs – as it was announced initially, we maintain this theme – the application may also apply for the grant for actions that fit in with the SDGs that are directly related to refugees and forcibly displaced people, such as:

  • 10.7: Facilitate orderly, safe, regular and responsible migration and mobility of people, including through the implementation of planned and well-managed migration policies, or
  • 16.3: Promote the rule of law at the national and international levels and ensure equal access to justice for all;

    … others if they meet a criterion of direct relation to refugees and forcibly displaced people.

IMPORTANT!

The proposed activities should be well connected to the respective SDG goal/target/indicator.

The scope of activities should not be limited to raising and distributing humanitarian aid but should be coupled with other interventions, including policy work on the national and local levels.

Therefore, we are extending the call for applications until March 20.

Apart from broadening the topics and extending the application time, other rules and regulations remain unchanged.
