ABOUT the CF: Maimona Foundation – Fundación Maimona is a private, independent, non-profit and philanthropic entity created in 2000 by Diego Hidalgo Schnur in Los Santos de Maimona (Badajoz, Extremadura), dedicated to promoting the local and sustainable development of Los Santos de Maimona and Extremadura, supporting entrepreneurs and innovators, as well as local groups with their business, social, cultural and cultural ideas and projects.

PROJECT TITLE: Mainova Junior Lab

THE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mainova Junior Lab is an initiative for young people between 13 and 20 years old with the aim of promoting community work as a tool for social change in rural areas. The project aims to empower young people by raising awareness about the importance of the SDGs. Within a 4-session itinerary, young people will learn methods and tools to develop ideas and projects, considering the social, cultural and economic characteristics of the environment, solving global challenges with a local perspective and building a local community aligned with the SDGs.
